The Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s May Seminar, presented by the Women’s Caucus, will address practice-specific topics as well as professional responsibility and diversity topics applicable to all aspects of the profession. We will learn how to maximize recovery in smaller personal injury cases, how to represent our clients in our work and efforts outside of the courtroom, how to create and use effective demonstrative exhibits, how to excel in motion practice, how to maximize damages through witness selection and testimony, the keys to developing and delivering opening statements at trial and at mediation, and the Honorable Nancy Rosenstengel, Chief Judge in the Southern District of Illinois, will share her perspectives on trial practice from the bench. In addition, Jayne Reardon from 2Civility will discuss attorney well-being: an ethical and professionalism issue, and Keenan Saulter will address Ending the Echo Chamber: Why Diverse Perspectives are Important when Preparing for Trial.Expand summary
